This nature reserve features undeveloped Georgian Bay shoreline with coastal bedrock, upland and lowland forest, and wetlands. The reserve protects more than 30 species of reptiles and amphibians, some of which are near the northern limit of their range. The park is adjacent to several islands in Georgian Bay Islands National Park. There are no visitor facilities. Camping is prohibited and recreational day-use for walking and nature appreciation is discouraged due to the sensitivity of the reserve's natural values.
